Nars Larger than life Long-Wear eyeliner

It seems like I am always on the search for the perfect eyeliner. You know, the one you would wear every day with everything; a similar phenomenon to finding the perfect pair of jeans, if you will. Well I’ve found my perfect eyeliner at the Nars counter. Nars larger than life long-wear eyeliner is unlike any eyeliner I’ve ever used. It goes on smooth, creamy, and deposits just the right amount of product. I purchased Via Venito, which is the blackest of black. It has real staying power on my waterline, which is hard to find. To give it the ultimate test, I went to sleep with it on. When I woke up, it was still there.
The liner comes in a total of 9 colors, from blue and purple, to white and ivory. Each pencil twists up and has a teeny sharpener at the bottom. Just be careful not to take off too much product with the sharpener (I prefer to gently shave the sides of my liner on a tissue to get a sharp point). Nars states these eyeliners have 12-hour wear. I would say that on me, they lasted between 6 and 8. I found that when I used the liner with an eye makeup primer, the color stayed truer and lasted a full 8 hours. All in all, it is the longest lasting eye liner I have ever used.
So if you, like me, need one perfect go-to eyeliner, that won’t let you down, run to your nearest Nars counter and pick one up. At $23.00, I found the product to be worth every penny. Now I am even more determined to find those jeans.

What products can you not live without?
Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel. After over- tweezing my eyebrows in the 90’s, I’d feel naked without it! I’ve tried many brow products out there and its hands down the best one. Looks natural and lasts and lasts. My favorite part is that once it’s dry it really doesn’t smudge.
My other favorites are the Smashbox Camera Ready 5-in-1 Beauty balm. It’s the perfect middle ground between tinted moisturizer and foundation; fantastic coverage with zero heaviness. Last but not least is the Tarte Cheek Stain in Dollface. It is perfect for my “Snow White” pale skin. I’ve been a fan of their creamy blushes for years.
